Ginger Beard-Martin is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and an Ontario Certified Teacher. Ginger’s breadth of experience in social work and teaching have given her a unique depth in understanding the struggles that families go through when a child has been diagnosed with a learning disability. Ginger’s counselling experience also includes working with individuals who have a learning disability, MID (Mild Intellectual Disability), Dual Diagnosis, and Addictions.
She has training from Waypoint Mental Health and ASYR in Dual Diagnosis, and her special interests include working with the following:
Children, students and adults with a learning disability and/or Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) combined with anxiety, depression, psychosis or addiction
Individuals who have Borderline Personality Disorder combined with depression, anxiety or addiction
Mid-life Crisis Management - helping and educating women who are near or in the menopausal transition stages to find happiness and balance in life when dealing with all the complex changes that take place both psychologically and physiologically
Focuses on anxiety, depression, and addiction
Ginger’s passion is to be an agent of change through evidenced-based practices to activate healing in the mind, body, and soul of her clients. Ginger is available on Saturday’s’ at the Newmarket Naturopathic Integrative Health Clinic.
Ginger is available in the clinic on Saturday's between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
