DR. ALEXANDRA LEE, HBKIN, ND

NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR

Dr. Alexandra Lee is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor and founder of the NNIHC.  Dr. Lee specializes in holistic health care for the whole family and is known for her compassionate care and thorough individualized treatment plans.  Her objective is to help patients reach their individual health goals and to maximize their individual potential. She emphasizes preventative medicine, as well as educates and empowers patients to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Dr. Lee completed an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Minor in Psychology from McMaster University.  Her passion for health, natural remedies, education and a holistic approach to the human body led her to naturopathic medicine. She went on to complete 4 additional years of post-graduate education at the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).  This four-year program incorporates over 4,500 hours of classroom training in basic medical science courses, clinical sciences and naturopathic therapies, as well as 1500 hours of supervised clinical experience.

Dr. Lee is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, as well as the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors. She is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

Dr. Lee enjoys working with people of all ages achieve their individual health goals and maximize their potential.

DR. SARAH D'ALESSIO, HBSc, ND

NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR

Dr. Sarah D’Alessio, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and co-owner of the NNIHC.  Through Naturopathic medicine, she seeks to empower her patients and through nourishment of mind and body, helps her patients reach their health and wellness goals.  She incorporates the art of Naturopathic modalities and evidence-based medicine to provide individualized care to all her patients.

Dr. D’Alessio, ND completed her undergraduate degree at Western University, where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a special interest in Microbiology and Immunology. She then completed four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, achieving her designation of ND, and completing over 4,500 hours study in the basic medical sciences and naturopathic modalities, as well as 1,500 hours of clinical experience.  Dr. D’Alessio, ND is board certified by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

TYLER BUTT, BSC. KIN, DOMP, DO (Spain)

OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL PRACTITIONER

Tyler is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is dedicated to helping people experiencing pain or suffering from injuries receive rehabilitation treatments that allow them a pain-free lifestyle. His treatments target the muscles and joints where symptoms are occurring as well as  above and below the site to ensure optimal recovery. From playing provincial level soccer and rugby, Tyler witnessed many injuries and complaints people were experiencing from everyday use of their body. This led him to pursue a career in health care. Tyler began his studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland where he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. He then attended the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto and graduated in 2017. Upon graduation he decided to broaden his understanding of Osteopathy even more by studying Doctor of Osteopathy program at the National University of Medical Sciences.

He employs a wide range of osteopathic techniques including Visceral manipulations (inner organs of the body), joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, craniosacral, muscle energy techniques and exercise prescription to provide his patients with the solutions to the most challenging of problems.

GINGER BEARD-MARTIN, B.A.(psych), M.S.W., R.S.W., B.Ed., O.C.T

REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER, PSYCHOTHERAPY

Ginger Beard-Martin is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and an Ontario Certified Teacher. Ginger’s breadth of experience in social work and teaching have given her a unique depth in understanding the struggles that families go through when a child has been diagnosed with a learning disability. Ginger’s counselling experience also includes working with individuals who have a learning disability, MID (Mild Intellectual Disability), Dual Diagnosis, and Addictions.

She has training from Waypoint Mental Health and ASYR in Dual Diagnosis, and her special interests include working with the following:

  • Children, students and adults with a learning disability and/or Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) combined with anxiety, depression, psychosis or addiction​​

  • Individuals who have Borderline Personality Disorder combined with depression, anxiety or addiction

  • Mid-life Crisis Management - helping and educating women who are near or in the menopausal transition stages to find happiness and balance in life when dealing with all the complex changes that take place both psychologically and physiologically

  • Focuses on anxiety, depression, and addiction

ANGELA TREVIVIAN, BHK, MHA

REFLEXOLOGIST

Angie has a passion for helping people achieve their optimal health through reflexology. She works with patients as a whole and addresses their individual needs to get them feeling their best.

Angie has worked in healthcare for over 20 years. She has a degree in kinesiology and a masters degree in healthcare administration. She is currently in the process of obtaining full registration as a reflexologist registered with the Reflexology Association of Canada.

What is Reflexology?


Simply put, reflexology is the study of reflexes. Pressure is applied to precise areas of the feet to help restore imbalances, relieve stress and tension, and improve circulation. It is safe, non-invasive, and very relaxing.

Common conditions treated include:

  • Heel Spurs

  • Foot Pain

  • Neuropathy

  • Anxiety
